Best rain gear
The editors at StyleList refuse to let the rainy weather slow down our style. And nothing battles the elements quite like a classic khaki trench. Kate Middleton, Jackie O. and Holly Golightly wouldn't be caught in a storm sans one! (You don't have to limit wearing the staple spring coat in stormy weather. Lindsey of Saucy Glossie broke out her trench, along with shades and a floppy hat, even though the sun was shining!)
Rubber boots -- tall or short -- are the easiest way to keep toes dry. And a compact umbrella -- one that will fit perfectly in a water-resistant tote bag -- is the best defense against precipitation.
So now that we're dry, we have nothing to worry about, right? Wrong. Waterproof mascara (our beauty editor swears by Maybelline Volum' Express Falsies) and frizz-fighting products (we think that Living Proof offers the best for straight and curly hair types) should always be on hand in case you're caught in a major downpour.
So peruse our gallery of the most stylish ways to stay dry, and let us know in the comments section below what rain gear you swear by
