Grunden rain gear

Unpredictability can best describe the next couple months, and when it comes to the issue of jackets, parkas or the like, I couldn’t be more indecisive. This is definitely one of my favorite articles of clothing, and although they’re typically dusted off during the spring and fall months, I’ve managed to embed a jacket into my kit for the entire year. Personally, it’s always been a Barbour Beaufort, with durable waxed cotton, the toughest zippers known to man, and a pile liner for the winter, this timeless piece of English excellence has served well.

Although I’ve limited my investments on the jacket front, there are still many solid pieces up for contention. Nigel Cabourn’s products continue to blow my mind, with timeless appeal, amazing quality, and his continual dedication to produce things locally in his native United Kingdom. Grundens (Sweden) and Guy Cotten (U.S.A.) could quite possibly produce some of the best foul weather gear on the market, and not only do they each offer a classic appeal, they’re modestly priced.
